Privacy Policy

Animalish ("we", "our", "the app") is published by IntrePe. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Plain English, no dark patterns.

Information we collect

  • Account info (optional): If you sign up via Firebase Authentication, we store your email address and a Firebase user ID.
  • Device identifier: For guest (unauthenticated) usage, we generate a Firebase Installation ID to enforce per-device daily limits.
  • Translation content: Text you submit and the resulting audio file are stored on our servers so the share link keeps working.
  • Usage data: Daily request counts (for quota enforcement). No detailed activity tracking.
  • Advertising: Google AdMob may collect a non-resettable ad ID, IP address, and standard mobile diagnostics. See Google's policies for details.

How we use it

  • To deliver translations and serve the resulting audio.
  • To enforce daily usage limits to prevent abuse.
  • To show ads (free tier) via Google AdMob.
  • To respond to data-deletion and support requests.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data.
  • We don't show ads inside the share viewer on this website.
  • We don't use the content of your translations for training AI or any other commercial purpose.
  • We don't track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

App permissions

Animalish requests INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE only, in order to fetch translations and detect connectivity. We do not access your microphone, camera, contacts, location, files, or photos.

Data retention

Translations and audio files are stored indefinitely so share links remain valid. Account info is kept until you request deletion.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the Data Deletion Request form. We process requests within 30 days. You can also request access to or correction of any personal data we hold by contacting us.

Children

Animalish is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
